Skyrim step enb ambient lighting3/29/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I use the Immersive First Person View mod to activate the change in near distance to 7.0, showing that the fog does change. I also have a video of the bug in action, with all of ENB's effects disabled or set to render as default.įirst in the video i am in third person, and I go into the vanilla first person view, showing how the fog doesn't change. ![]() I did not test to see if the near distance being set to a multiple of 5 prevents the bug, but will do so after posting. I see that you tested values that are multiples of 5. I do not have my ENB configured to handle specific weather types, instead opting to edit the vanilla look with the extra features of ENB such as reflections and SSAO. Those changes did not seem to prevent the bug. I also have ENBEffect set to use "Vanilla". I've tried disabling all the effects of ENB, and making ENB use the original object processing and post processing, then saving and applying. This fog issue seems to happen across all weathers in my game, but the one in the image is 10FE7E, "RiftenOvercastFog" In this image, the fNearDistance is set to 7. Which weather? Which effects of the mod must be active to make problem visible? ![]() Is this something that could be fixed? Changing fNearDistance is somewhat important for Immersive First Person to look correct, otherwise getting too close to objects cause them to noticeably clip and partially disappear.ĮNBSeries wrote:With fNearDistance=5 and 15 i dont see difference. I did notice that ENB's rendering does not change when going from between first and third person, so I assume ENB is able to handle the change between the fNearDistance settings for both first and third person views. However, through experimentation, I've noticed that any change with fNearDistance regardless of within the game or before the game is loaded, causes enb to render like the foggy image above when what is supposed to be rendered as the following:Ĭhanging fNearDistance in IFPV is used to reduce culling close to the camera, since IFPV uses the third person fNearDistance setting instead of the much lower setting for the vanilla first person. The fog wasn't rendered correctly.Īfter some experimentation, I learned that Immersive First Person View changes the fNearDistance so that less culling happens closer to the camera. So during my skyrim LE playthrough i noticed something really wrong with my ENB. ![]()
